We believe everyone deserves a second chance. In fact, many of our animal ambassadors have been rescued and adopted from shelters, private homes, and sanctuaries in Texas. Though they came to us with a sad story, they are now loving and caring examples of what compassion and confidence can do. Many of our critters have been disabled or injured prior to arriving at The Gentle Zoo. With a little love and care they can thrive despite their disabilities. The animals may be in various stages of rehabilitation. If you have a question regarding one of the animals, please do not hesitate to ask we would love to share their story.
